Snappd is a Chrome Extension that captures and annotates screenshots. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

Snappd does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics.

How the Extension Works

• Screenshots are captured locally on your device
• All processing happens in your browser
• Screenshot data is stored temporarily in your browser's local IndexedDB and deleted after use
• No data ever leaves your device

Permissions

Snappd requests the following permissions solely to provide screenshot functionality:

• activeTab: to capture the current tab
• scripting: to enable full page capture
• storage: to temporarily pass screenshot data
• tabs: to open the annotator in a new tab

Third Party Services

Snappd does not use any third party services, analytics, or tracking tools.
